DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 



Under the supervision of the Officer in charge of MCH, the incumbent will be responsible to:



1. Identify among the packages provided on the ” CRAN Task View: Hydrological Data and Modeling” https://cran.r-project.org/web/views/Hydrology.html, those packages that could be integrated/connected to MCH/OpenCDMS.

2. Provide guidance with related material to design and develop/programme an open source based module for hydrology (especially: velocity estimation in river cross-sections using well recognized methods, generate rating curves from gauging measurements, …)

3. Assist in the development of tutorials and training material (videos, pdf, …) for the new modules, to be uploaded on the MCH/OpenCDMS platforms
