Description of the Assignment:

The UNDP Armenia office is seeking a qualified National Consultant on Biodiversity Policy and Institutional Review to support the development of the Biodiversity Policy and Institutional Review (PIR) report. The consultant will be responsible for conducting institutional and sectoral analyses and providing initial inputs for the development of the Biodiversity Finance Plan. This work will focus on the most recent National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP), which is expected to be aligned with the new Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), in accordance with the latest version of the BIOFIN Workbook and supported by detailed data. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to the stakeholder analysis for the Biodiversity Expenditure Review (BER) and summarize key priorities and policies to inform the methodology of the Biodiversity Finance Plan.
