We have adopted the Equal Earth projection for our “Where We Work” map, so every continent appears at its real size relative to the others. It’s a small change that reflects a bigger commitment to seeing the world fairly, and it follows a 2026 UN General Assembly resolution that endorsed the Equal Earth projection and other equal-area maps for showing relative size accurately. The boundaries and names shown and the designations used on this map do not imply official endorsement or acceptance by the United Nations.
