People & Culture Administration Team Lead

In this role you will supervise, delegate and represent the Administration Team to ensure compliance with administrative processes, project manage several initiatives to improve our administration, and support regular administrative procedures – both with internal and external partners.

A key role for the Team Lead is to build and maintain positive work relationships with colleagues across departments both within Greenpeace International and our National/Regional Greenpeace organisations (NRO’s).

As Team Lead, you will be a role model for best practice and an expert on how the department seeks to resolve operational processes.

Job requirements

  • Experience of leading and building an effective HR operational team in a global organisational context.

  • Experience in coordinating payroll & financial processes (inc. staff budgets).

  • Demonstrate understanding of and creativity in operational HR administrative processes.

  • Experience with Dutch labor law.

  • Experience and proficient knowledge in Arbowet (absenteeism – Dutch legislation)

  • Knowledge of working with HRIS (AFAS), SLA and ticketing systems (HappyFox) is helpful

  • Able to demonstrate stakeholder management skills

  • Knowledge of project management

  • Knowledge in staff global mobility and tax equalisation

  • Demonstrate ability to meet regular deadlines and respond to ad hoc requests

  • Analytical skills

  • Proficient in English and Dutch

  • Support for and belief in the core aims and values of Greenpeace.
