The Performance, Innovation and Strategic Analysis for Impact (PISA4Impact) is currently searching for a Postdoctoral Fellow to mainly provide insights on the design and implementation of socioeconomic studies. PISA4Impact is a multi-role unit that works synergistically with one another to ensure research outputs reach development outcomes and impact. The program aims at fostering a highly integrated work practice related to foresight analysis, strategic performance evaluation, assessments of outcomes and impact and data management and open science.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist multi-disciplinary Alliance research initiatives and bilateral projects in experimental and survey design and contribute to developing and using standard procedures for data capture and processing for widely applied experiments.
- Analyze the statistical relevance of research outcomes and other indicators reported in the research performance management system and monitor strategic indicators such as the Alliance research contribution to SDGs indicators.
- Implement and support in-house capacity building of Alliance staff, visiting researchers, and students in research methods, statistical analysis, and the use of statistical packages, interpretation, and documentation of research results.
- Participate in the design and planning of the research proposals.
- Provides rigorous/sound analysis and timely conceptual input in support of a research project.
- Coordinate with parties within and outside the organization (external partnerships), donor relations (fundraising and project implementation).
- Contributes to and generates scientific publications
