Friends of the Earth is a leading environmental NGO, concerned with the protection of the environment. It is the largest grassroots environmental campaigning community in the country, and one of the oldest and largest worldwide. We are looking for a Political Affairs manager to manage our political affairs work in Westminster. The Political Affairs Manager will build and manage relationships with decision makers, advising colleagues in the development and delivery of campaigns across the organisation. You will be responsible for taking the lead in coordinating political activities and responses on agreed areas of work in key moments across Westminster and Whitehall.

The role of Political Affairs Manager requires someone with demonstrable experience in parliamentary affairs and excellent knowledge of the UK political landscape, having clear understanding of how devolved government relates to Westminster and Whitehall. You will also have demonstrable experience of successful political campaigning and policy research to deliver change in policies and/or legislation.
