Gran Tescual: Five Worlds of Life explores the Indigenous worldview of the Gran Tescual Reserve in Puerres, Nariño, Colombia.

Through the five worlds of spirits, minerals, water, plants and animals, the video shows how territory, biodiversity, culture and ancestral knowledge are deeply interconnected. It offers a community-centred perspective on caring for nature, protecting cultural identity and understanding the land as a living system.

In Yoko, Cameroon, the municipal forest is being managed with conservation at its core. This documentary looks at how the municipality and local communities are restoring forest landscapes, developing agroforestry and other livelihood activities, and working with national and international partners to reduce pressure on the forest.

It also examines the wider biodiversity context in Cameroon, from research and data gaps to ecosystem services and national conservation priorities, and the role of BES-Net in bringing scientists, policymakers and practitioners together to support biodiversity action.

This video from the BESPIN Regional Trialogue for Europe and Central Asia brings together practitioners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia and across the region to unpack what it actually takes to move from recognition to partnership. They describe knowledge that goes undocumented until someone asks the right way, understanding so embedded in daily practice that people rarely name it as knowledge at all, and what changes when knowledge holders help shape the questions being asked, not just answer them.
