The Digital Content Specialist writes and edits communication materials to educate and inform the public and further the chapters’ communication goals. The right candidate for this job will need to execute both creative and analytical skills concurrently, flexing between identifying and crafting compelling stories and using analytics tools to develop reports and strategies that help guide each chapter’s ongoing digital marketing efforts. Their projects will include creating regular web-site articles/stories, management of chapter website infrastructure (including building new pages and updating existing pages), aggregating and reviewing website, social media and e-newsletter analytics, creation of growth and lead ads for social platforms, and strategy and implementation support for identified digital marketing campaigns. They may assist in the management of design and production of written materials and may work with freelance writers, graphic designers, photographers, printers and other vendors, and staff, as required.

• Accountable for meeting assigned project goals and objectives and proactively offering new ideas, including but not limited to creating and managing website content, social media backup support, analytics strategy and other project support as needed.
• Works with colleagues to gather information efficiently, including participating in meetings with conservation staff and others, as needed, to gain a strong understanding of the chapters’ conservation, fundraising and policy priorities and associated strategies.
• Pays close attention to detail, is highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
