Requirements

• Academic Qualifications University degree (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent) in program management, public administration, environmental science, environmental management, social sciences or related fields is required.
• Working Experience Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in programme or project management, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, and/or global environmental and biodiversity initiatives are highly desirable.
• Prior experience within the United Nations system, particularly with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), is desirable. Proficiency in information and communications technology, strong analytical skills, high level of attention to detail and well-developed interpersonal competencies are also desirable.
