UNDP Namibia, with support from the European Union, is inviting national civil society organizations (CSOs), NGOs and community-based organizations to apply for small grants under the Good Governance and Anti-Corruption in Namibia project. The initiative aims to reduce corruption by enhancing transparency, accountability and civic engagement nationwide.
Eligible projects may include:
-
Outreach and awareness campaigns on anti-corruption (via TV, radio, social media, art exhibitions, etc.)
-
Capacity-building activities such as trainings, workshops and debate clubs
Priority will be given to innovative proposals that:
-
Address corruption while focusing on gender, youth, persons with disabilities, LGBTIQ+ communities, and diverse ethnic or linguistic groups
-
Clearly link oversight actions to measurable improvements in transparency and accountability
-
Strengthen CSO capacity, promote civic participation, and align with Namibia’s national anti-corruption strategies
The initiative also encourages collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Commission and other relevant institutions.
