The Wildlife Communications Intern will support the Wildlife Conservation Communications team at WWF in coordinating, developing and delivering internal and external communications products. The role offers hands-on strategic communications experience and deeper exposure to WWF’s wildlife conservation work across its global programs.
Job Responsibilities

Assist in internal communications products (e.g. newsletters, calendars, fact-checking).

Develop and update webpages, stories, decks and other editorial content.

Support communication campaigns and strategies for wildlife-related observance days and initiatives.

Contribute content and scheduling for the Senior VP’s social media account.

Create infographics, visuals and other graphic materials as assigned.

Participate in internal meetings and produce notes as required.

Support a wide range of topical deliverables, comms outputs and team needs.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

Strong writing, presentation and time-management skills.

Organised, analytical and passionate about wildlife conservation.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email platforms.

Able to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).

Educational background or experience in wildlife conservation or environmental science.
Other Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Must be currently enrolled in school and eligible to receive academic credit.
