EDF is working with major fleet operators, manufacturers, and other key industry stakeholders to accelerate the deployment of zero-emission trucks and buses. These voices are also highly influential in the development of public policies that shape the pace of adoption of these vehicles. We are seeking to an analyst to help us sharpen our ability to engage with these companies about critical state and federal policy matters. This position will provide critical outreach analytical skills to support this effort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform research and analysis that supports EDF’s Zero Emission Fleet strategy
• Run EDF analytical tools, including but not limited to the Total Cost of Ownership tool, Emissions Reduction tool, and the Proximity Mapping tool, to support fleet engagement
• Coordinate asks for fleets and other industry stakeholders with EDF state, federal and industry engagement teams.
• Prepare quantitative and qualitative materials to support industry engagement
• Track progress and outcomes from industry engagement, as well as movement in the medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicle market

• Develop, in collaboration with state leads and other EDF staff, state-specific, public-facing materials to be used at conferences, workshops, and other events that aid fleet professionals with the electrification process
• Advise on and assist with the creation of additional fleet-focused materials
• Participate in advancing EDF DEI goals in which people from all backgrounds and experiences feel connected, included, and empowered to address environmental and organizational challenges in alignment with EDF values
• Manage fleet deployment and commitment database and generate statistics for state and federal talking points.
• Develop event-specific materials for state leads
• Attend events when state leads and other staff need assistance
