One Tree Planted is looking to hire a full time Bookkeeper to join our operations team to capture day to day transactions in the accounting system and the CRM. This applicant would work directly with the Senior Bookkeeper to identify irregular transactions and problems.

As an environmental charity, we are dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!

The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, forward thinking, and enthusiastic about the environment. You would be a member of a fast paced and dynamic team working closely with the Senior Bookkeeper and the larger operations department to produce reliable and accurate financial information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture daily bank transactions in the CRM and the accounting system
• Capture daily Brex transactions in the accounting system
• Investigate unknown bank deposits
• Capture all checks received in the CRM and the accounting System
• Send thank you notes to donors
• Validate and capture all accounts payable invoices
• Record Receipts from Third Party Platforms, including:
  
  – Download reports from platforms
  
  – Reconcile reports to payments received
  
  – Capture donation in the CRM and accounting system
• Assist with audit activity
