The GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP) Maldives invites NGOs, CSOs, and CBOs to submit concept notes under Operational Phase 8 (OP8).

Projects that protect the environment while improving community livelihoods, with a strong focus on biodiversity, climate change, land degradation, international waters, and chemicals and waste, are encouraged. The programme also supports initiatives in sustainable fisheries, food security, low-carbon energy, and urban solutions.

Grants:

Up to USD 30,000 (new applicants)
Up to USD 70,000 (returning partners)

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit full proposals.
