The successful candidate will help develop and support the delivery of communications objectives to bring the story of key campaigns to media in Europe and support 350’s network of local groups in their media work. They will collate content from Europe for international materials and integrate stories from other regions into European communication outputs. They will be the bridge between 350 international communications staff and the Europe team to coordinate on outputs and ensure alignment on messaging

The main responsibilities for this role are

• Develop media materials and content such as press releases, media packs, blogs and opinion articles; coordinate translations as needed with 350’s Translations Team
• Pitching stories and articles to media and file media requests
• Maintain media lists and send press releases
• Support with the development and delivery of communications plans around key campaign moments
• Liaise with 350 staff internationally to coordinate and ensure alignment on messaging
• Work with Europe digital staff to highlight and amplify content from local actions across Europe including curation of photos and videos
• Work with country and digital teams, photographers and videographers as required to obtain high-quality visuals to share with journalists
• Support country staff and local partners in their media work
• Daily media monitoring, tracking and sharing coverage, media evaluation
