Description

UN Environment World Conservation Monitoring Centre works with scientists and policy makers worldwide to place biodiversity at the heart of environment and development decision-making to enable enlightened choices for people and the planet.
This position will provide critical support to ensure the impact of two capacity development, science and development projects: the Development Corridors Partnership (DCP) and the Trade, Development and the Environment (TRADE) Hub.
DCP is working to enhance the sustainability of development corridors in Africa and has university and NGO partners in the UK, Kenya, Tanzania and China. The TRADE Hub aims to enhance positive outcomes and reduce negative impacts of trade in wildlife, wild meat, and agricultural commodity trade around the world. It has partners in 15 countries, including the UK, Brazil, Cameroon, Gabon, Republic of Congo and Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Indonesia and China.
