The Role:
The Knowledge and Content Intern will work with the Under2 Secretariat team on a variety of knowledge management and sharing projects, including: 1) helping to launch and curate for our newly built Knowledge Hub; 2) helping to launch and populate our States and Regions Action Map; 3) an institutional knowledge project of their choice, aligned to our organization’s priorities; 4) other related tasks, depending on the intern’s interests.
The Under2 Coalition is a global community of state and regional governments committed to ambitious climate action in line with the Paris Agreement. It represents 1.75 billion people and 50% of the global economy, and a main focus of the Secretariat is to promote knowledge sharing and peer learning among the governments, in order to replicate best practices and drive climate action fast.
The intern will help us fulfil these goals by working to showcase our current knowledge offerings and creating new content for our state and regional members. They will also work in an cross-organisational manner, taking part in our Knowledge Solutions Team and inputting into projects built around strengthening our institutional knowledge. The intern will also be supported to develop their own organisational knowledge project, with many possibilities available to choose from depending on their interests and aligned to our priorities. Finally, there are other activities, projects and/or campaigns which the intern may help with depending on their time and interests.
