The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills and experience in various administrative tasks. They should have a pro-active approach, be a problem-solver by nature, and be solution oriented when presented with new tasks or challenges. They should be comfortable taking initiative and being empowered to research and implement solutions to new work or projects. Lastly, they should have keen attention to detail and be comfortable handling a variety of communications, including in person. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing mission of conservation by directing and shaping the work of our team!

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Associates Degree plus 1-year experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience providing administrative support, including some or all the following; phones/customer service, mail distribution, equipment maintenance, coordinating travel arrangements and meetings, or organizing files.
  • Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.
  • Experience writing, editing, and proofreading written materials.

  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experiences are appreciated.
  • Comfort with technology and learning new systems.
  • Ability to organize time and prioritize work assignments.
  • Experience accessing, using, and/or creating different systems.
  • Familiarity with standard business communications.
  • Excellent customer service skills and focus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze available information for the purpose of solving problems.
