Are you passionate about collaboration and teamwork and are good at problem solving? We are looking for someone who is an experienced project manager to support high priority, complex program and projects teams get up and running with the right structure, clarity in work, and decision-making processes to accomplish conservation outcomes and program goals. The ideal candidate should be able to work within a matrix structure, coach cross-functional teams, and engage effectively with senior leaders, Project Sponsors, and diverse stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should be able to work on multiple projects and be able to coach projects leaders and team members on project management best practices. Previous experience with environmental or conservation projects is a bonus. You would ideally have consulting experience supporting client teams.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years related experience or equivalent combination;
  • 5 years of project management experience or 3 years acting as a project lead;
    Completed coursework or other training on project management principles;
  • Direct experience working on and experience consulting on managing and tracking multiple projects and experience managing and implementing complex processes.
  • Experience managing project teams and working with cross-functional staff
  • Experience managing scheduling and logistical aspects of medium to large projects that range from short to long term; and directly using and consulting on project management techniques and tools.
  • Experience working with a highly matrixed, decentralized and collaborative organization.
  • Experience training staff on how to effectively engage with internal and external parties.
