The Solution Architect is the technology lead in defining solutions and strategy using their expert technical knowledge. They design and develop new, complex technology systems and solutions according to system requirements following TNC’s methodology and development best practices. They act as lead Architect on technology application maintenance projects related to application upgrades, conversions, and modifications. Performs task assigned as required to complete project including design, development, running specific programs, generating reports, and analyzing results. They can see the impact of near term and long-term choices and are great at explaining it. They analyze changing business and market circumstanced and industry trends to evaluate alternatives and develop/implement solutions in response to changing business and market circumstances.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience in Information Technology field with 4+ years of recent relevant experience in a cloud environment (AWS / Azure)
- Professional competence in the principles and practices of Cloud architecture as they relate to:
- Architecting Solutions using AWS / Azure for “cloud-scale,” high availability, and appropriate access control and management
- Coding solutions that are composed of AWS using the APIs, IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS,
- Communications of Cloud concepts to peers and customers
- Experience with technologies and a deep understanding of challenges posed by:
- Migration to a cloud native, micro-service, streaming/real-time, and decoupled based architecture.
- Experience with the Well Architected Framework.
- Assessing and incorporating the adequacy of technology controls and security measures.
- DevSecOps – Design of Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/CD) and the tools used to deliver solutions.
- Experience in leading and mentoring technical staff in the development and usage of technology architectures and solutions.
- Experience developing, building confidence, and maintaining customer working relationships.
- Experience with other enterprise domains (application, security, infrastructure data, etc.).
