The Strategy and Policy Project Coordinator provides administrative, research, project management and other general assistance to program staff working toward the achievement of conservation goals.  This position will work across all of the functions of the Strategy and Policy Department and may provide support to other areas of the organization. They will work directly with Strategy Directors and Project Managers with focus on conservation real estate, and the implementation of the Florida Strategic Plan.

The Conservation Coordinator may manage conservation data, participate in conservation planning, develop project packages, respond to landowner inquiries, and maintain project records.  May include collecting, assembling, and analyzing various types of data, in the field or through document surveys, producing maps using GIS software and assisting in the production of reports.

• Coordinates multiple tasks or projects in a timely manner and with attention to detail.
• May assist with program budget preparation and monitoring.
• Makes day to day decisions as delegated by the supervisor and or the Strategy Director/Project Manager.
