Description

The Technology Specialist, Internal Communications will manage and implement the design, maintenance, tracking, and troubleshooting of the People Team’s Connect site—the most complex and most visited site on TNC’s intranet. Reporting to the Associate Director of Internal Communications, they will work closely with the Internal Communications Manager for the People Team and a team of content managers across the People Team to ensure consistency, accuracy of information and to create and manage a positive end-user friendly environment. They will ensure that communications are posted in a timely and efficient manner, will track and analyze metrics and implement strategic recommendations so that program goals are met. They will act as a connector between IT and the Chief People Office and will assist staff on troubleshooting issues and will work with IT for resolutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE

  • Manage and implement the design, maintenance, tracking and troubleshooting of the People Team’s SharePoint intranet site (Connect).
  • Work with content managers to ensure that all information and documents are relevant and kept up to date.
  • Organizes, manages and coordinates diverse projects and activities with many variables. 
  • Does not supervise any staff but will coordinate the work of peers on departmental project teams. 
  • Duties are performed under general supervision and established guidelines.  
  • Opportunity to act independently on assigned tasks and projects.  May have opportunity to direct individual projects.
