The Youth Internship program is designed to introduce and enhance the knowledge and understanding of the connection between people and nature. This goal is accomplished while engaging in this primarily virtual paid intern program.
Interns will be provided with a variety of assignments that will require them to engage in outdoor areas that are primarily within walking distance of their home and/or school. Provisions may also be made for transportation to other sites of interest as needed. Assignments will also provide opportunities to engage people and nature virtually and in person(family) in ways necessary to complete assignments and projects. Interns will also participate in zoom meetings, lectures and presentations.
