Hosted by the Natural Areas Association and presented by the Center for Plant Conservation (CPC), this webinar will introduce CPC’s work in conserving rare and endangered native plants through science-based strategies and collaborative action.
CPC leads a network of over 80 botanical institutions across three continents and maintains the National Collection of rare North American plants, safeguarding 4,400 of the most imperiled species. The session will highlight CPC’s research, fieldwork, seed conservation, training tools (including the Rare Plant Academy), and best practices guiding both in situ and ex situ conservation.
The webinar is designed for conservation practitioners, researchers, and natural areas professionals looking to advance plant conservation through shared knowledge, research, and digital learning platforms.
