Wild Live: How Can We Improve Ethnic Diversity in the Environmental Sector?

27 October 2022

For Octobers episode of Wild LIVE we will be discussing a crucial issue that has recently been put back in the spotlight by the publication of the ‘Changing the World From Within’ report. The report focusses on the lack of ethnic diversity in the environmental sector, and we’ll be discussing the important journey organisations need to go on in order to create lasting change.

We’ll be hearing from Mya-Rose Craig (also known as BirdGirl), ambassador for TWT and founder of Black2Nature, an organisation which helps inner-city VME (visually minority ethnic) children connect with nature. We’ll also be joined by Miriam Bentley-Rose who is the Strategic Lead for EDI at The Wildlife Trusts who will outline how the Trusts are tackling the lack of diversity.
