In partnership with Esri, the Natural Areas Association (NAA) presents a free two-part webinar series exploring how Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can elevate conservation storytelling and impact reporting.
Led by Sunny Fleming, Director of Environment, Conservation, and Natural Resources Solutions at Esri, the series will showcase how tools like ArcGIS StoryMaps, Dashboards, and Hubs are helping land managers communicate complex spatial data in accessible and engaging ways.
-
Part 1 (March 17): Introduction to holistic GIS workflows with guidance on getting started.
-
Part 2 (May 12): Real-world examples of how peers use GIS tools to support efforts like State Wildlife Action Plans (SWAPs).
Participants will gain insight into using location intelligence across the conservation workflow – from planning and field tracking to stakeholder engagement.
