Organized by the Indigenous Studies Discussion Group at the University of Cambridge, this one-day online symposium will explore how Indigenous knowledge informs environmental research, climate adaptation and pluralistic futures.
The programme will bring together researchers, Indigenous knowledge holders, practitioners, artists and community organizers to discuss Indigenous climate adaptation, environmental justice, ocean governance, community-led initiatives, youth activism and storytelling as climate knowledge.
The symposium aims to create a collaborative space for dialogue across academic research, lived practice and community knowledge, with sessions focused on climate justice, knowledge transmission, water worlds, land-based healing, adaptation and restorative futures.
