GLF Africa 2026 will convene policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and community leaders to explore pathways for sustainable rangeland management and pastoralist livelihoods. As part of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, the event will highlight the ecological, economic, and cultural importance of rangelands, which support food systems and livelihoods for millions.
The conference will focus on advancing inclusive governance, strengthening pastoralist-led stewardship, and fostering innovation across sectors. Through dialogue and knowledge exchange, participants will engage with solutions that address climate pressures, land degradation, and investment gaps in rangelands.
