Speak Out For Animals is organizing an online mentor webinar exploring the role of community participation, conservation governance and innovative approaches in pangolin conservation within the Camp Ma’an and Deng-Deng National Parks of Cameroon.
The session will feature Fosab E. Ewah, Executive Director and Founder of the Association for Inclusive Green Action (AGIGA), who will share insights into democratic conservation approaches and efforts to protect pangolins, one of the world’s most trafficked mammal groups. The webinar will examine how community engagement can contribute to biodiversity conservation and wildlife protection in protected areas.
The event is open to students, conservation practitioners, researchers, policymakers, wildlife enthusiasts and others interested in biodiversity conservation and community-led approaches to environmental governance.
