Organized by the Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR) and hosted by the PEDRR-FEBA Joint Working Group on Loss and Damage, this webinar will explore how cities can better integrate Nature-based Solutions (NbS) into responses to escalating climate risks and loss and damage in urban areas.
The session will examine how ecosystem-based approaches are already being applied in cities and how they can be scaled and embedded into urban planning, disaster risk reduction and policy frameworks. Discussions will focus on the role of nature in resilience, adaptation and reducing climate-related losses in increasingly vulnerable urban environments.
