The International Water Resources Association (IWRA) is organizing a webinar exploring how water can serve as a connector across climate action, land restoration, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
The session will examine the role of water in addressing interconnected global challenges, including climate change, ecosystem degradation, biodiversity loss and increasing water stress. Speakers will discuss how integrated water management can support more coherent governance, financing and decision-making across sectors and scales.
Participants will gain insights into the institutional, financial and governance barriers that limit integrated approaches, as well as practical strategies for linking water management with climate adaptation, ecosystem resilience, land restoration and development planning. The webinar aims to highlight how water can help align policies, investments and actions to strengthen global water security and sustainable development.
