IUCN is organizing a webinar exploring One Health as an integrated framework connecting biodiversity conservation, ecosystem integrity, climate resilience, and animal and human wellbeing.
Drawing on global and regional examples, the session will examine how One Health principles are being applied across conservation, ecosystem management, and community resilience initiatives. Speakers will share practical lessons, enabling conditions, and approaches for strengthening collaboration across environmental, animal, and human health sectors.
The webinar will also consider barriers to implementation, including fragmented governance, limited cross-sector collaboration, and financing challenges, while identifying opportunities to scale One Health approaches through programmes, partnerships, and policy engagement.
