CONserve-KAIGANGAN is organizing a session of the KAIGANGAN Biodiversity Webinar Series 2026 on the topic “Triple Planetary Crisis in Global Karst Landscapes: Finding Solutions through Engaging Community Conversations.”
The webinar will feature Dr. Inocencio E. Buot Jr., Professor Emeritus at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, who will discuss the interconnected challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution in global karst landscapes, and the role of community engagement in developing sustainable solutions.
The webinar is intended for students, educators, researchers, conservation practitioners, policymakers and anyone interested in biodiversity conservation and community-based environmental action.
The event will be held online via Zoom on 10 August 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Philippine Time). Participants are encouraged to register in advance. If the Zoom meeting reaches capacity, the session will also be available via Facebook Live.
