It is intended to help prepare participants for effective engagement at COP17.
The agenda includes an overview of the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the global review, as well as a session on Article 8(j) on traditional knowledge, the Programme of Work and the Subsidiary Body on Article 8(j).
The online training is open to Indigenous Peoples and organizations worldwide. Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English, Spanish, French, Russian and Portuguese.
