Biodiversity and climate policies and actions are not gender neutral. Gender inequality, the drivers and impacts of climate change, and biodiversity loss are deeply interconnected and often reinforce one another. This knowledge product, named “Gender Mainstreaming in Biodiversity and Climate Policies and Actions: Insights from IKI Projects in Viet Nam” has been developed to foster cross-learning and knowledge exchange among IKI implementers. It documents practical experiences, gender-responsive approaches, achievements, and lessons learned from mainstreaming gender into project operations.
