2nd Global Biodiversity Workshop: Keynote Speech by Nik Sekhran, UNDP Director of Sustainable Development.
Mr. Nik Sekhran explianed BIOFIN was created to work with Ministries of Finance and to track the biodiversity expenditures into different sectors. He concluded that BIOFIN evolved and identified four critical types of finance results: Avoid future expenditures, Realign expenditures, Delivering better, Resources mobilization.
