The CFA with support of Instituto Semeia, Linden trust for Conservation, FIBA and the FFEM, mandated the preparation of a comparative review of the advantages and disadvantages of financing through a long term CTF mechanism versus a project-finance approach to support Protected Area (PA) systems. As part of the first phase study, desk case studies were conducted. The study was carried out during the first half of 2012.
