There are four testing plots with hybrid clonal material. This material is regularly measured and some characteristics are observed. This paper summarizes the results of measurements from the years 1998, 2000, and 2002. The hybrid material is compared with control material Abies alba from open pollination. Results show, that hybrid clonal material grows orthotopically and most of them are better in growth characteristics in comparison with control material Abies alba from open pollination. Mortality is also very low. All this means the high potential of this material to the future not only for further breeding but also for use in special plantations.
