Organized by the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER), this webinar will explore how restoration seed banks can support large-scale ecosystem restoration and community empowerment in Kenya. The session will highlight the role of native seed systems in addressing challenges related to the availability and quality of germplasm for restoration efforts.
Drawing on practical experience from the Centre for Ecosystem Restoration Kenya, the discussion will showcase how community seed networks, capacity building, and restoration projects contribute to biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
