CABI and TFNET are organizing a 90-minute regional webinar on advancing biological control in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The event will bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers and extension professionals to explore current opportunities, challenges and practical approaches for implementing and scaling biological control strategies.
The webinar aims to strengthen awareness, understanding and uptake of biological control through regional dialogue, knowledge exchange and the demonstration of practical tools that support decision-making. Participants will learn about experiences from across Africa, the Middle East and Asia and gain insights into sustainable plant protection approaches.
The programme will include a live demonstration of the CABI BioProtection Portal, alongside case studies and country perspectives from across the three regions. The session is intended for professionals working in agriculture, research, policy and extension services, as well as others interested in sustainable and organic approaches to crop protection.
