The UPLB Agricultural Systems Institute (ASI) will host a seminar on Agricultural Development in Small Island Systems as part of the ASI Durungawan 10 for 10 Seminar Series, marking the institute’s 10th anniversary.
Small island systems face distinct challenges, including limited resources, heightened climate vulnerability and the need for resilient and sustainable agricultural pathways. This session will examine the opportunities and strategic directions for advancing food security and climate resilience in these contexts.
The seminar will be led by Dr. Rodmyr F. Datoon, Director of the Agricultural Systems Institute and Associate Professor, who will explore key challenges and policy and development pathways for small island agricultural systems.
Registration is available via the link provided by ASI.
