The CGIAR Science Program on Better Diets and Nutrition, in collaboration with IFPRI, the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, and the Ethiopian Public Health Institute, is organising a dissemination seminar on consumer and food environment research in Ethiopia.
The seminar will explore how globalization, urbanization and economic growth are reshaping food environments and dietary patterns. Presentations will highlight evidence on diet quality, food access and consumer perceptions, drawing on both quantitative and qualitative research. The session will also examine implications for policy and implementation across the education, agriculture and health sectors to improve diets and food environments.
Speakers include researchers from IFPRI, the Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT, and EPHI, who will share findings and reflect on pathways toward healthier and more sustainable food systems in Ethiopia.
