The Loss & Damage Joint Working Group of PEDRR and FEBA is hosting a webinar introducing FRAME-ECO, a collaborative framework designed to assess and monitor biodiversity and ecosystem service losses resulting from climate and disaster events.
The session will present the framework, share lessons from country experiences and explore how FRAME-ECO complements existing tools such as Post-Disaster Needs Assessments (PDNA), the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) and disaster tracking systems led by UNDRR, UNDP and WMO. The discussion will also highlight its relevance to the Santiago Network and the Warsaw International Mechanism.
Participants will gain insights into tracking ecological changes, interpreting non-economic losses and integrating findings into policy and climate finance processes. The webinar will include space for dialogue, feedback and collaboration opportunities. A recording will be made available.
