The Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR) and the Friends of EbA (FEBA) Joint Working Group on Loss and Damage are organizing the fourth session of their Loss and Damage Webinar Series, focusing on policy and financing solutions for biodiversity and ecosystem losses.
The webinar will bring together experts from policy, finance, climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction to examine approaches for addressing biodiversity and ecosystem-related loss and damage. Discussions will explore biodiversity finance, adaptation finance, resilience-building measures and innovative financial mechanisms that can support responses to environmental losses.
The session will feature contributions from specialists working in international organizations, research institutions and academia, offering perspectives on the intersection of climate policy, environmental finance and ecosystem resilience. The discussion will be moderated by Le-Anne Roper, disaster risk reduction and climate policy specialist at UNDP.
