IUFRO Research Group 6.01.00, Forest Recreation and Nature-Based Tourism, will host a webinar on the growing pressures affecting peri-urban forests across Europe and approaches to balancing recreation, tourism and sustainable forest management.
The webinar will present case studies on visitor management in recreation forests, including sustainable visitor management in Prague, innovative management approaches in Zurich and mountain biking management in Freiburg.
Speakers will include Petra Palátová of the Czech University of Life Sciences, Mélanie Feurer of Bern University of Applied Sciences and Andy Selter of the University of Freiburg.
