This webinar will explore how a Nature Positive approach can help halt and reverse biodiversity loss while supporting the stability of Earth systems that underpin human health and well-being.
Drawing on a recent Frontiers in Science article, speakers will examine how ecosystem disruption is linked to growing risks such as infectious diseases, declining mental health and broader environmental instability. Discussions will also highlight the role of Indigenous knowledge, governance, finance and the Three Conditions Framework in shaping coordinated responses across terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecosystems.
The session will bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss pathways for aligning biodiversity, climate and development goals through the protection and restoration of intact ecosystems.
