Organized by CEE Bankwatch Network and EuroNatur, this report launch will explore the financing needs associated with implementing the EU Nature Restoration Regulation and restoring ecosystems across Member States.
The event will present findings from case studies in Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary and Croatia, developed with national partners to estimate restoration costs and support more effective planning and budgeting for nature restoration measures. Discussions will also examine the broader policy and financing challenges linked to implementation at both national and EU levels.
Hosted by MEP César Luena, the session will include presentations, reflections from policymakers and opportunities for audience discussion and exchange.
