This webinar will present the Malawi National Ecosystem Assessment, the country’s first integrated assessment of biodiversity, ecosystem services and human well-being. Experts from Malawi will share the assessment’s key findings and discuss how they can support national planning, implementation and evidence-informed decision-making.
The session will also examine the collaborative process behind the assessment and explore opportunities to strengthen the science-policy interface in support of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. Participants will gain insights into how ecosystem assessment findings can inform biodiversity policy and sustainable development.
The webinar is intended for policymakers, practitioners, researchers, civil society representatives and others interested in advancing evidence-informed biodiversity policy. Simultaneous interpretation will be available in French and Spanish.
